Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS simplifies the process of gathering precise, high-resolution maps and 3D models through drone technology.

The application seamlessly integrates with the Site Scan Manager web platform and ArcGIS Online, enabling users to import essential resources like base maps, pre-saved flight plans, overlays, and previously captured orthomosaics to ensure meticulous flight preparation. Users can enhance security measures by logging in to Site Scan using their ArcGIS Online credentials, thereby benefiting from organization-specific authentication protocols.

A wide range of flight modes are available to cater to diverse scanning requirements, with the app intelligently determining the optimal flight path based on the site type. The ability to preview these paths in both 2D and 3D adds an extra layer of precision. For seasoned operators, the Terrain Follow capability adjusts the drone's altitude to mirror the terrain, thereby elevating image quality.

Prior to takeoff, users are guided through a comprehensive preflight checklist ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The app then performs necessary aircraft checks automatically and initiates the flight process. Long missions are seamlessly managed by automatically segmenting them, enabling battery replacement without interrupting progress. Upon completion, images can be wirelessly transferred to an iPad for subsequent upload along with Fleet Management information to Site Scan Manager for cloud-based processing.
